Since 2015, I have been a lecturer at the Department of Prosthodontics at Semmelweis University, where I teach dental students in Hungarian, English and German. I am actively involved not only in patient care but also in scientific work/life.

Clenching, grinding, and jaw joint clicking are all symptoms related to the field of gnathology, which can have several other health consequences. This is a specialized area that few dentists focus on. For me, however, gnathology is not just a special part of my profession, but a passion and challenge as well. I consider it especially important to solve such cases.
The possibilities for dental prosthetics depend greatly on the current condition of the oral cavity. After all, it matters what we are building upon. Therefore, in every case, a complete assessment of the oral cavity's condition is recommended as the starting point. I perform acomprehensive oral examination including oral cancer screening and jaw joint function test.
If necessary, digital panoramic X-rays, intraoral X-rays and CBCT scan assist in establishing an accurate diagnosis.
I strive for clear, direct communication, with a particular emphasis on stress relief. For the diagnosed issues, I create a complete treatment plan, which also includes a detailed quotation. I prioritize the identified concerns, and after a thorough discussion, we schedule the treatments.

During a 45-minute consultation, we will thoroughly discuss your complaints, and I will perform a physical examination by palpating the temporomandibular joint (jaw joint) and masticatory muscles. Typically, a digital panoramic X-ray is also taken.
Depending on your complaints and condition, we will set up a strategy for your recovery. We'll talk you through the next steps of treatment and what you need to do.
Depending on the severity of your issues, we will start your treatment. If necessary, we will prepare the appropriate appliance (splint) to protect your teeth.
